Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Anniversary to US!

Sorry, we have lots to catch ya'll up on... We (I) have been a slacker with keeping pics posted...
We have had lots of great fun lately, we went to a live nativity, got a visit from Santa (James' grandma lives on Christmas street, and Santa makes a special stop there the Saturday before Christmas, and all the grandkids get stockings as he calls out their names), Kaylie doesn't love Santa... he's a stranger. :)

We went back and forth between families for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Celebrated our 4th anniversary at Little America (thanks to Gma Kercher for watching Kaylie overnight!), then we spent New Years Eve with friends and New Years Day once again with both families... Lots o' fun, and lots o' packing stuff up! We had a blast, and as we took all our decorations down, we felt an empty feeling...
Here's some pics from all the fun:

If you look closely, you can see a real Mary, Joseph, and even a real baby Jesus!

Santa brings hot chocolate and donuts for all the "big" kids...

Doesn't that just break your heart! (Mean mom!)

We were up til 1am putting the dang thing together!

But it was all worth it to see how much she LOVED her kitchen the next day (or technically later that morning...he he he)!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone remember her ultrasound??? Our peace baby!!!

Okay, so there's a timer on the stove, and she loves to shake her arms while it counts down!

Her other favorite toy, it was so funny watching her go back and forth, she was completely torn as to which to play with!
I got a new coat...much needed. And James got a new U hat, and Red Sox shirt (without a name on the back, just in case that person ever traded to the yankees...) (he burned his Damon shirt...)

We got the "Romance Package" at Little America. We had such a blast!!! We went to dinner at Biaggi's (highly recommended!!!), to a movie, and then hung out and got room service! The package at the hotel was awesome, it included yummy sparkling cider, chocolate, chocolate covered strawberries, a gorgeous long stem rose, and a key with our anniversary engraved on it! It was by far our favorite anniversary yet!!! Here's to another 4 plus!!!

Some thoughts

I know this is a couple months old, but I wanted to post it today because James and I attended a funeral today. It was for his cousin's little boy who only lived 5 1/2 months on this earth. The funeral service was amazing, and we are so grateful to have been there. We also cannot express how grateful we are for our beliefs, and for knowing that Ally and Jim will be reunited with their little baby James again. We love our family, and we are especially so thankful and mindful of how lucky we are to have our perfect little Kaylie. We love her so much, and cannot count our blessings enough...

Christmas Card

So, this is our 07 Christmas card, digitally scrapbooked of course! For those of you that already got the real thing, just disregard this post, but to those of you who did not, (either because I don't have your address, or I am a slacker and mailed them out sooo late and you haven't yet received it), sorry, here it is...

Fast Fun!

So we went with some friends to Jungle Jims the other night... I was a little worried at first, cause all of the rides looked a little scary, I thought for sure we'd spend the whole night riding the "neigh" on the merry-go-round...But as you can see, (hopefully you can see, it's a little blurry I know, we need a camera upgrade obviously...) Kaylie had the time of her life!!! She couldn't stop smiling and laughing, and sticking her little tongue out! She couldn't handle how much fun she was having! She loved every ride, even the one that made the dads sick!

She even learned how to bowl!!!

All of the sudden, my little Kaylie bug is so grown up, brave, and talented, (look at that perfect line up...), I love you, you cute little girl!

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

James relaxing, before the meal...

Kaylie chillin with her cousins

All the ladies, yeah, good lookin family, eh!

Playin the wii!!!

So, we again cannot just celebrate holidays once, that would be weird, right! We love the double Thanksgiving idea though, we didn't mind packing Kaylie up and keeping her out super late, definitely past her bedtime... And she didn't mind either, she had a blast playing with all her cousins. James' aunt and uncle host pre-Thanksgiving dinner every year for all the extended family, this year we had about 65 people there, or some number close to that. On the complete opposite side of the spectrum, my family got us for Thanksgiving this year, and we had a whopping 9 adults and 4 kids... yeah, quite the contrast! But they were both delicious dinners, and a way good time after! This was our first time playing the wii, I know, we're way behind the times, but we loved it, and I beat James at bowling!!! Yeehaw! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving too, now onto Christmas party planning... :)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Check out Kaylie's new shades!

Grandma Kercher rockin out!

Hangin with CUTE uncle Tom!

"Stirring the brew, stirring the brew, oooo, ooooo, boo!"
Grandma Evans is a spooky witch, with a cool brew, and scary stories for all the kids!

So, we celebrated Halloween like 10 times this year, okay, really 4 though! We had a blast as the "tooth themed family." I know, cheesy, but I had to do it once in my life! So yeah, James was a (gay) hygienist, I was the tooth fairy, and look at the little tooth I got! We had so much fun going everywhere dressed up (don't worry it was three different days, hence my two different colored shirts...), to our ward party, Evans family party--where you can see Kaylie 'stirring the brew', a trunk or treat, and the Kercher family party! You betcha, we just can't get enough partying, especially Kaylie, she's a party animal!

Barn Dance! Yeehaw!

We were so lucky, we got invited to this exclusive "Hoe down." We got to go with mom and dad Evans. Get this, so 4 ladies that play tennis together organize this dance yearly, and they each invite 15 couples and their kids. Then they just hire a caller, rent the barn (in Oakley), and have everyone bring a salad! Easy as pie to organize, who's up for planning one with me?!! It was seriously such a blast, we danced our little hearts out, and only went home so we could relieve our babysitter... (we could've stayed all night!)
